- Have permanent disability and provide proof
- Qualify for full-time or part-time student loan
- Be enrolled in full-time or part-time program at designated postsecondary institution
- Have no outstanding receipts from previous services and equipment grant funding

- Specialized education-related assistive equipment, including: readers, alternative format, computers, software
What Services are Available?
- Grant provides up to $22,000 per program year
- Reimbursements for learning disability assessments
Procedure for Getting Access
- Provision of written confirmation and explanation of the exceptional education-related services or equipment needed
- Proof of permanent disability - medical certificate completed by qualified medical practitioner OR Verification of Permanent Disability form (Ministry of Advanced Education)
- Completion of the Conformation of Enrolment form (signed by an individual at the school authorized to confirm enrolment) and the Confirmation of Need form (completed by the school’s disability advisor and/or a recognized disability organization)
- Receipts for the approved items must be submitted
