- Programs where all ages are eligible
- Incarcerated People
- Assistance provided to the following: government wards, inmates of provincial correctional institutions, residents of special care facilities who are eligible for the Senior's Income Plan, and those enrolled in either the Saskatchewan Assured Income for Disability (SAID), Saskatchewan Assistance Program (SAP), Transitional Employment Allowance (TEA), Provincial Training Allowance (PTA), or Saskatchewan Income Support (SIS)
What Devices are Covered?
- Hearing aids and devices
What Services are Available?
- Coverage for the replacement of a lost or broken hearing aid (replacement is subject to a 30% co-payment for clients over age 20)
- Coverage includes audiology services, hearing aids and certain supplies available through approved supplier
Procedure for Getting Access
- Most of the services require prior approval from the Ministry of Health
