Safa Ali is a Health Studies (Co-op) and Psychology candidate at the Interdisciplinary Center for Health and Society, University of Toronto Scarborough. She is currently a Research Assistant with the Toronto Rehabilitation Institute's Dementia Ageing Technology Engagement Lab (DATE), where she is conducting research for the development of an innovative information and communication technology solution to empower and support individuals with cognitive impairment. Prior to this, she worked at the Intelligent Assistive Technology and Systems Lab (IATSL) as a Research Assistant, where she assisted an interdisciplinary team in creating this searchable database that features 220+ assistive technology programs in Canada. An aspiring public health professional, her research interests lie at the intersection of public health, chronic diseases, and health system solutions.
